Midlands State University (MSU) staff showcased their prowess at the Zimbabwe University Staff Sports (ZUSSA) Games, held at Lupane State University, finishing overall runners-up with a tally of 4 gold, 3 silver, and 2 bronze medals. The University of Zimbabwe took the top spot.
The ZUSSA Games, which ran from February 6 to 7, 2026, saw MSU teams qualify for the semifinals in all disciplines, a testament to their strength and dedication.
Speaking to MSU Radio News, MSU Staff Sports President Dr. Nyasha Mapuweyi expressed gratitude to the university management and staff for their commitment to staff wellness and fitness, as well as the dedication of the participating staff who represented MSU with distinction.
