A 22-year-old man has been arrested in Shurugwi in connection with eight motor vehicle theft cases involving vehicles worth 31-thousand-400 US dollars. The Zimbabwe Republic Police say Takudzwa Moyo was arrested on 13 October in the Makusha area following a tip-off.
The stolen vehicles, comprising six Honda Fits, a Toyota RunX and a Toyota Nadia, have all been recovered, although the Toyota RunX was found without its battery.
Midlands Police spokesperson Inspector E. Mahoko says the suspect is expected to appear in court as investigations continue.
