The lecture had been scheduled for Thursday, 20 August 2026, from 10am to noon at the New Boardroom at the university’s Zvishavane Campus.
The engagement was expected to provide a platform for students, academics and members of the university community to engage with research findings, ideas and emerging areas of innovation.
TMMRI is among the research-focused structures associated with MSU’s Zvishavane Campus and has a multidisciplinary focus that includes research relating to environmental and natural-resource issues.
The university has not yet announced the reason for the postponement or the new date for the public lecture.
Students, academics and other interested participants are expected to be advised once a new date and programme are confirmed.
