Former students of Midlands State University are gathered at the institution’s Gweru Main Campus for the Alumni Reunion and Business Expo, an event aimed at strengthening networks, reconnecting graduates with the university, and celebrating the achievements of alumni in various sectors.
Edmond Nyakuenda, an alumni who studied Environmental Studies and graduated in 2005 from the 2001 intake stream, said the reunion provides an important platform for former students to reconnect and build professional relationships. Nyakuenda added that the gathering reminds alumni that despite pursuing different career paths after graduation, they remain part of one MSU family.
The Alumni Reunion and Business Expo also provides opportunities for alumni entrepreneurs to exhibit their businesses, encouraging collaboration and mentorship among graduates and current students.
