The Midlands State University (MSU) Faculty of Education is expanding access to higher education by offering flexible learning opportunities designed to accommodate students from diverse educational and professional backgrounds.
Speaking to MSU Radio News, the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr Annah Moyo, said the faculty remains committed to ensuring that quality education is accessible to all through innovative teaching and learning approaches.
“We are committed to making higher education accessible by offering flexible learning options that meet the different needs of our students,” said Dr Moyo.
She explained that the faculty provides learning pathways that allow students to pursue their studies while balancing work, family and other responsibilities, making higher education more inclusive and responsive to the needs of modern learners.
Dr Moyo said the faculty has also invested significantly in state-of-the-art infrastructure to provide students with an enriching academic experience.
“We have invested in modern learning facilities, including a specialised ICT laboratory and a science laboratory, to support practical learning and improve academic success,” she said.
According to Dr Moyo, these facilities equip students with the digital, scientific and practical skills required to excel in today’s technology-driven education sector while enhancing teaching, research and innovation.
The Faculty of Education offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes aimed at producing competent educators and education professionals capable of responding to national and global development needs.
Dr Moyo encouraged prospective students to explore the faculty’s programmes and take advantage of the university’s flexible learning model and modern learning environment.
