Rejoice Masarakufa, the technical sales rep for feedmix private limited in Midlands province said the initiative seeks to empower both upcoming and experienced farmers with knowledge and techniques to improve productivity and profitability in poultry and livestock farming.
"Topics to be covered during the workshop include cattle pen fattening, broiler management and poultry production," she said.
Masarakufa indicated that the training is part of ongoing efforts to strengthen farming skills and promote sustainable agricultural practices within communities.
"Farmers attending the workshop are expected to gain practical insights on proper animal management, feeding techniques and production strategies aimed at improving the quality and output of their farming projects," she said.
The organisers have urged farmers to take advantage of the opportunity to sharpen their skills and “master poultry farming” through the training programme.
