Preparations for the 46th Independence Day celebrations in Midlands Province are at an advanced stage, with thousands of people expected to gather at Mandava Stadium tomorrow on April 18.
Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Hon Owen Ncube, confirmed that all key arrangements have been finalised following a state occasion meeting held earlier yesterday. He said the province is fully prepared to host a memorable event as Zimbabwe marks its independence.
This year’s celebrations will run under the theme “Zim@46: Consolidating Independence Gains Through Unity and Development,” highlighting the need for national unity, peace, and continued development in line with Vision 2030.
