The event, being organized by the university’s International and Alumni Relations Office, will run under the theme “Embracing Cultural Diversity for Sustainable Innovation.”
According to the invitation released by the university, the carnival aims to celebrate cultural diversity while creating a platform for alumni, students, exhibitors and invited guests to connect through culture, fashion, food and innovation.
The university said the event is designed not only as a celebration of heritage and diversity, but also as an opportunity for alumni operating in cultural and creative industries to showcase their businesses and talents to the wider university community.
Highlights of the carnival will include a Cultural Unity March, cultural culinary showcases, fashion and style exhibitions featuring the “Mr and Miss Carnival” showcase, as well as exhibitions and networking sessions.
The event is also expected to attract diplomatic participation, with invited embassies set to take part in cultural exhibitions and engagements during the carnival.
Meanwhile, the university has called upon alumni involved in fashion design, traditional arts, culinary businesses and heritage-based innovation projects to participate as exhibitors.
