Midlands State University (MSU) is currently hosting an international academic exchange program at its Zvishavane Campus as part of a collaborative Memorandum of Understanding involving four partner universities.

The delegation is led by Zvishavane Campus Director, Dr Mugari, and includes the Director of MSU Radio, Professor Javangwe, as well as Dr Noel Muridzo from the School of Social Work. The exchange program brings together Midlands State University, the University of KwaZulu-Natal, and Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts, with MSU this year serving as the host institution.

The initiative is designed to strengthen academic cooperation, research collaboration, and knowledge sharing among participating universities, while also promoting interaction between staff and students across borders.

Speaking during the visit, Dr Muridzo said the program provides an important platform for academic engagement and institutional collaboration. “The exchange program is a valuable platform for collaboration and engagement among universities, allowing us to strengthen academic ties and share knowledge across institutions.”

He added that the initiative has also created meaningful opportunities for both staff and students to interact and exchange ideas in diverse academic settings. “It has created opportunities for both staff and students to share ideas and experiences, which enriches teaching, learning, and research across the participating universities ,” he said.

The exchange program continues to play a key role in advancing MSU’s internationalisation agenda while strengthening partnerships with regional and international institutions.
