Injury Blow Hits Warriors Before Botswana Clash
Latest Updates

By Tiny Sibanda

Zimbabwe’s national football team, the Warriors, have been hit by injuries ahead of the Four Nations Tournament in Botswana, with four key players ruled out just days before the March 28–31 competition in Francistown. Tawanda Maswanhise, Knowledge Musona, Prince Dube and Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya are all sidelined, forcing coach Marian Marinica to make late changes as the squad began camp in Bulawayo this week.

Marinica has drafted in Washington Navaya, Jarrison Selemani, Godknows Murwira and Mongameli Tshuma as replacements.

Players have started reporting for camp, with full assembly expected by Monday evening, but limited preparation time remains a concern. The Warriors face Highlanders in a practice match on Wednesday before departing for Botswana on Thursday.
