Police in Midlands Province have arrested a 23-year-old man in connection with the fatal stabbing of another man following an alleged dispute over change at a tuckshop in Mbizo, Kwekwe.
The deceased has been identified as Marshal Muyuni of Marshville, Mbizo.
Police say the suspect allegedly followed Muyuni while armed with a knife after an altercation and stabbed him several times. Muyuni was taken to Kwekwe General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Midlands Provincial Community Relations Liaison Officer Inspector Mahoko says the suspect is expected to appear in court facing a murder charge.
Police have appealed to members of the public to resolve disputes peacefully and refrain from acts of violence.
